Haoqing Zhang

Haoqing Zhang received his PhD in physics in 2026 from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he conducted research at JILA in Ana Maria Rey’s group. His research interests center on quantum simulation and quantum metrology using highly controllable atomic many-body systems. His current research focuses on emergent collective phenomena and Hamiltonian engineering in systems involving cavity quantum electrodynamics, in close collaboration with James K. Thompson’s experimental group at JILA.
